I came across Kinesiology in 1996. At that time, I was suffering from Ross River Fever and the medical profession could not help. I decided to try natural therapy and a Kinesiologist, Ian Martin, was just around the corner. I knew nothing of Kinesiology, but I was very open to the experience. I was so impressed after my first balance, that I decided it was something that I would like to learn. Wouldn’t you know it, Ian was starting to teach Kinesiology in the following months. After my third session with Ian, the Ross River Fever had disappeared, my energy levels were at an all new high and the aching in my joints had gone, my enthusiasm however, had not died. The amazing treatments I had only fueled my desire to learn. As circumstances would have it, I was unable to learn at that point in time. Even though my passion and desire was there, I was not yet ready. In 2000, I studied R.E.S.E.T. with Rani and Bill Zeller and was very excited about learning with them. I had all the dates worked out, but alas, once again, not ready.
Then in 2005, I made a commitment to myself that I was going to study Kinesiology and not back down. It was then that I came across Guy Bennett from Create Your Reality at Paddington. The minute I started talking to him on the phone, I knew that he was going to be my instructor.
I signed up with him to study Touch For Health and from there, I took it easy until I finished my Certificate IV in 2009. Wow! 4 years!! That is taking it easy! It’s not about the finish line, but the journey on getting there. And what a wonderful journey it has been. The growth that I have experienced has been…unbelievable, to say the least. There were many hard places and rocks I had to crawl over, under and move out of the way to get to where I am today. It certainly was not easy, well at the time when I was going through it, it didn’t feel easy.
Kinesiology helped me every step of the way. I was certainly ready this time!
I have continued studying with Guy and am nearly finished my Diploma and just starting my Advanced Diploma with Hugo Tobar from the International College of Neuroenergetic Kinesiology based at Murwillumbah. As of February 2011, I too will be teaching Kinesiology. I am very excited about being able to share this wonderful and amazing natural therapy with everyone who is interested in looking after their health naturally or furthering their career and becoming a Kinesiologist themselves.
Thank you Guy for sharing your wealth of knowledge and teaching me valuable skills and techniques that I not only am able to use for my own personal growth, but also to help others to grow on their personal journey. Especially for developing Cranial 2, which changed my life, made sense of the chaos and catapulted me on my path. xx
